Terms and Conditions
Below find some details about the legalities of how we do business. Please contact us for any detailed questions about how things work.
- Our standard rate is $75.00 per hour
- When a firm, fixed price quote is used, this same standard rate is used to arrive at the quoted price.
- Our minimum labor charge is 15 minutes for existing clients, and one hour for new clients.
- All ICentral Electronic Commerce products (like ShopSite) are sold at 10% below retail.
- Unless specified otherwise, travel time for requested visits to the customer's premises are charged at ½ standard rate.
- Customer accounts more than thirty days past due are subject to a fifty dollar per month billing fee, or one and one-half percent interest per month (or portion thereof), whichever is larger. Any nonenforcement of this policy shall not be construed as being exempt from this policy; these charges (when appropriate) may be added to clients account anytime before the account is paid in full. (We try to cut some folks some slack, unless they take advantage of our good nature.)
- Payment terms are money order or check, due two weeks after invoicing. All invoices are delivered by email, except by prior special arrangement.
- Payments can also be made via bank-to-bank transfers; Secure Solutions Inc. charges an
additional $15.00 per transfer made (this is what our bank charges us, to receive money via EFT).
- You retain exclusive copyright to any and all pictures, graphics, and text that you contribute to your web presence.
- You obtain the exclusive copyright to any custom graphics that we create for you.
- You obtain, and retain forever, the (nonexclusive) right to publish any work we do for you (HTML, page design, CGI scripts), even if you decide to publish your web presence on other than our Web servers.
- We retain nonexclusive rights to any/all page designs and/or CGI scripting we do.
The reason this is necessary is the following: When we do your work, we will rely heavily on drawing from our past work, where appropriate. This gives you tried and true product quite a lot faster, and reduces greatly what we must charge (and lets us get a lot more done). We would not be able to experience and pass on these savings if we had transferred total exclusive rights to our previous clients; so we haven't, and don't.
- If your information is stored on Secure Solutions Inc.'s web servers, you agree to abide by the rules that exist at
http://www.iserver.com/servers/contract.html; your role in that document is designated as 'Client'. These rules are in place mostly to protect the computers, and network lines connected to our web servers, and our other clients who also have web sites there.
- All contents (words, pictures, meanings, purpose/intent, etc...) are solely the responsibility of the client. Secure Solutions Inc. does not warrant that your page or its contents are legal to publish. You agree to indemnify and defend Secure Solutions Inc. against any claim that your information should not have been published.
- Hosting fees (to store your web site on our web servers) is paid quarterly, in advance of the time period for which it is for. No refund for unused time is made if you decide to move your web site away from our servers, or for any other reason - all hosting sales are final.
- Secure Solutions Inc. can, in it's sole discretion, remove from the Internet, any software or file that has not been fully paid for by the client.
- 100% of all collection costs of past due balances are payable by that client that is past due.
- The physical location where this agreement is being made is in Mount Pleasant, Utah, for legal jurisdiction reasons, or any other reason.
- Secure Solutions Inc. terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. Changes will appear on this web page, and are 'in effect' 30 days later.
- All offers made by Secure Solutions Inc. are valid only in geographic areas where they do not violate local laws or statutes.
