ShopSite merchants have chosen to advertise their stores in many different ways. Of course, ICentral advertises the ShopSite Marketplace as a whole, which brings traffic through, and larger stores advertise extensively, resulting in residual traffic, but the only way to ensure that your target clientele visits your site is to do advertising yourself. You can pay for advertising on popular sites. Advertising on well-travelled sites like yahoo and infoseek is very expensive, but a better way to approach the problem would be to determine which sites are most popular with your target clientele and advertise there.
